The television show 911 honors first responders

The television show 911 honors first responders. The show looks more cinematic at times than an actual tv show. One episode featured a flight for life helicopter hanging perilously from a building, while a first responder is trying to save a human organ inside the helicopter. The helicopter falls to the ground in a fiery crash. The chief is pulled to safety through the firehouse he tied around his waist, and he emerges triumphant.

In another scene that unfolds, zoo animals have escaped their cages and are in the city of Los Angeles. An elephant is the first animal at the location. The first responders must answer a call about a man who has been attacked by an animal.

They enter a shop and find the man on the ground. A chunk of the man's ear is missing from an Alpaca attack. The female first responder explains alpacas can become vicious when they feel threatened. The female first responder also explains alpacas eat grains and grass. The first responders lure the animal away from the man using food.

Los Angeles is facing a blackout. And the first responders and a female dispatch operator must help a young boy who is disabled. The young boy has a tube through his throat and must stay connected to a ventilator. The backup battery for the ventilator is low soon after the blackout occurs.

The dispatch woman calls on neighbors to help. Dispatch calls a neighbor with a battery for solar power. They connect electrical cords and Christmas lights to the battery to save the boy's life.

The show stars the talented Angela Basset, Peter Krause, and Oliver Stark.
