The People's Choice Awards celebrates popular culture. The awards show allows real people to determine nominees and winners from music, movies, and television. According to the People's Choice Awards, the program is the only where the entertainment industry does not decide the winners. These Awards are centered around the people. The event started in 1975. The show aired Tuesday at LA's Nokia Theatre. The live program is broadcast on CBS. Prince William plans a $5 million birthday surprise for the Duchess. According to Perez Hilton, Royal spies reveal birthday gift info. They said William is looking for a $5 million home for Kate's early January birthday. He is interested in Hampshire and Buckinghamshire locations because they are away from London. Perez Hilton reports William is hopeful the new house will buy Kate privacy. The Huffington Post confirms the birthday shopping. The royals are working out birthday party plans.   The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant. The media speculates Kate could be expecting twins. 

By Terri A freelance photographer is struck by a driver and killed after trying to take photos of Justin Bieber. The photographer was chasing after Bieber's white Ferarri Tuesday evening in Los Angeles. According to Reuters, Bieber's friend was driving the car. The photog believed Justin Bieber was inside. The freelancer crossed the highway to take photos of the sports car which was stopped for speeding. The photographer was struck by another driver. The L.A. police said a highway patrol man had ordered him back to his car for safety reasons. He didn't make it across four lanes of traffic. Justin Bieber calls the death tragic. The star is hopeful the incident will 'inspire meaningful legislation' for safety. Other celebrities spoke out about the tragedy and about being hounded by the media. Media reports the coroner who performed Amy Winehouse's autopsy did not meet requirements for the career. The coroner is said to have been hired by her husband. The cause of Amy Winehouse's death will be re-investigated. According to CNN, the investigation was relaunched one year after the coroner resigned after questions about her qualifications. The coroner had ruled Winehouse died from alcohol poisoning.  London's Camden Council announces a new coroner will take over on January 8. CNN reports Winehouse was discovered dead at her London home on July 23, 2011. The singer had struggled with drug and alcohol problems for years. The first coroners report suggested death by misadventure-an accidental death. Amy Winehouse rose to fame for her singing in 2007. Amy allegedly became notorious for her partying behind the scenes. Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi" tours the nation from a food truck. Letters on the vehicle spell "No Soup For You!"  People on the Seinfeld Truck hand out free soup. There is soup, muffin tops, Junior Mints, and black and white cookies based on Seinfeld episodes! The "Soup Nazi" is played by Larry Thomas. He greets, poses for photos, and signs autographs. Thomas says the tour is for the fans.
