                                                                                AP $53 million in diamonds and jewels were stolen from the Intercontinental Hotel in Cannes. Law enforcement said this is one of Europe's largest, recent jewelry heists. The AP reports the incident occurred around noon Sunday. The hotel was holding a jewelry exhibit at the time. Police report the theft is after Pink Panther gang members escaped from jail. The group are notorious jewel thieves. Reports from Cannes said one person, who was armed, stuffed the jewels in a suitcase. Police did not confirm this report. Israeli billionaire, Leviev, owned the jewels. An expert said the chances they will be recovered is unlikely. They can be cut, making them difficult to identify, and sold.

The New England Patriots Coach, Belechick speaks out for the first time Wednesday after former Patriot Aaron Hernandez was allegedly charged with murder. The AP reports, he said The Patriots will learn from this experience. The coach expressed "our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim." "A young man lost his life." The coach commented this case involves a person who happened to be a Patriot. You may recall, the AP reported Aaron Hernandez was allegedly charged with Odin Lloyd's murder Wednesday June 26. Aaron Hernandez was friends with Odin Lloyd. Lloyd was a semi-professional football player. His body was discovered about a mile away from Hernandezes' home. Belechick made it clear, "We certainly do not condone unacceptable behavior." He urged the Patriots to move forward.

The Duchess arrived at the same hospital wing where Princess Diana delivered Prince William. There were reports Saturday the Duchess had moved to Kensington Palace from her parent's. Kensington Palace is closer to where she would deliver. You may recall fans were gathering outside of the hospital for the past couple weeks. There are reports the Duchess of Cambridge moved to Kensington Palace near where she is expected to have her baby. AP reports said she left her parents' home outside of London. Prince William is with Kate at Kensington Palace. Crowds of tourists are gathering outside the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge is expected to deliver her baby. Tourists can be seen snapping photos. A man dressed in a flag hat and other patriotic garb is drawing attention. Duchess and Prince William look-a- likes even became an attraction. Kate's anticipated due date was in mid-July. She could deliver soon. An official announcement will be placed outside the palace when their child arrives.

Sharknado survives for a sequel. The Syfy Channel announces there will be another film. The first Sharknado was about a tornado filled with sharks which hits LA. The second will involve a shark tornado terrorizing New York. Syfy's website said you could have the chance to name the new movie. They will select the best entry for naming the film. The first movie had people inundating the twitter sphere with their messages. Celebs even shared their thoughts about the creative film.

Sharknado has people talking and tweeting. The movie about sharks flying around in a tornado premiered this Thursday. There are reports the movie brought in more than one million viewers. The film stars Ian Ziering and actress Tara Reid. The movie features Ian Ziering slashing his way through a shark after being eaten alive. Tara is enthusiastic about her part in Sharknado. She said the movie was "so ridiculous and so bad, it's good." The star said this is the reason she accepted her role. For those of you who missed Sharknado. There are reports the movie will be replayed July 18 at 7pm ET on Syfy.

Justin Bieber apologizes to Bill Clinton. The AP reports he is accused of cursing the former president and spraying cleaning fluid at his photograph. Clinton's employees announced the star called them, made his apology, and offered help for the Clinton administration. According to the AP, there are accusations Bieber's name is on a citation for being an underage guest at a Chicago club. You may recall video recently surfaced along with alleged reports Justin Bieber peed in a mop bucket on his way out of  a club. The famous singer and his friends were said to be leaving through the kitchen after the celebrity was swarmed by fans. A friend captured the scandal on video. There is speculation the star spritzed Clinton's photo after the alleged incident.  The person said to be tasked with mopping the floor removed all the liquid before cleaning.  The singer is 19-years-old. No word on Bieber apologizing for allegedly peeing in the bucket.

There are reports the Duchess of Cambridge's baby arrived. According to the AP, stars on the red carpet discussed the baby's birth. In the past nine hours a blog reported someone in Kate Middleton's family said the child was expected within the next few days. Zeenews reports the family member said no one could be more enthusiastic than than she is. The insider revealed the Duchess of Cambridge and William's baby is a girl. The AP reports the world is awaiting the baby's arrival. They report the due date could be in mid July. A conflicting report stated the birthday would be around July 4. Princess Diana once gave birth and waited a week before announcing the birth of her child. There is speculation the Duchess of Cambridge could do the same thing.

Lauren Hill is in the slammer. The AP reports the famous singer is accused of failing to pay about $1 million dollars in taxes in the past ten years. Hill started her three month sentence Monday. She is in Connecticut. The singer will be on parole for a year after she serves her sentence. She will face home confinement for the first three months after her release from prison.  A tabloid reporter showed his support for Lauren Hill when news about the alleged crime surfaced. He said we love your music. We hope this is over soon.

Kerry Washington creates her own real-life 'scandal'. Washington secretly married. The star married NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha last week. Her husband is a San Francisco 49ers Cornerback. Washington is the star of the hit show Scandal . The Associated Press reports their nuptials were hidden until their marriage certificate surfaced online. US Magazine reports they were married June 24th. Washington portrays PR guru Olivia Pope. Her character is based on a real life fixer for some of the nation's worst scandals. There are reports the couple have been dating since summer 2012.
