Actress Nichelle Nichols passes away at 89 years old. According to the AP, Nichols played the role of Lt. Uhura on the original tv show Star Trek. Lt. Uhura was the communications officer. Nichelle Nichols broke barriers in Hollywood. Rest in Peace, Nichelle Nichols. 

Actor Ben Affleck and singer Jennifer Lopez obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada on Saturday, July 16th. According to US Weekly, the couple was engaged nearly 20 years ago and decided to become engaged again. According to the magazine, the couple tied the knot about 20 years after their first engagement. Ben Affleck is an Oscar-winning Actor. Jennifer Lopez is a Grammy-winning singer. 

Actor James Caan passes away. According to the AP, Caan played Sonny Corleone in The Godfather. James Caan, Robert Duvall, and Al Pacino were nominated for Academy Awards for best-supporting actors for their roles in The Godfather.   Comedian and Actor Adam Sandler paid tribute to Cann on social media Thursday, July 7th.  Sandler wrote,  "James Caan. Loved him very much. Always wanted to be like him. So happy I got to know him. Never ever stopped laughing when I was around that man. His movies were the best of the best. We will all miss him terribly. Thinking of his family and sending my love."  Caan took on the role of an author held hostage by an obsessed fan in the movie Misery. An insider said Chelsea Handler is as funny in everyday life as she is on television. The insider said he was at a party in the Hamptons when he saw the comedian.  Handler is known for her late-night talk show Chelsea Lately. Chuy Bravo was Chelsea's sidekick on the show. He passed away.  Handler also recently filled in for late-night host Jimmy Kimmel for Jimmy Kimmel Live!  The insider revealed the information about Chelsea Handler on Tuesday, July 5th. 

 The Duck Dynasty cast may soon return to television. An insider revealed the cast and crew are working on a new treasure hunting show.
