Actor James Caan is Dead at 82 years old

Actor James Caan passes away. According to the AP, Caan played Sonny Corleone in The Godfather. James Caan, Robert Duvall, and Al Pacino were nominated for Academy Awards for best-supporting actors for their roles in The Godfather.  

Comedian and Actor Adam Sandler paid tribute to Cann on social media Thursday, July 7th. 
Sandler wrote, 

"James Caan. Loved him very much. Always wanted to be like him. So happy I got to know him. Never ever stopped laughing when I was around that man. His movies were the best of the best. We will all miss him terribly. Thinking of his family and sending my love." 

Caan took on the role of an author held hostage by an obsessed fan in the movie Misery. Kathy Bates won an Oscar for her role as the obsessed fan. Misery is based on Stephen King's novel. 

Caan was 82 years old.
