Ryan Seacrest is Kelly Ripa's new 'Live' co-host
Nearly a year after co-host Michael Strahan left "Live," Kelly Ripa has a new co-host. On Monday, May 1st new co-host Ryan Seacrest made his appearance on the ABC show. Kelly and Ryan revealed they were aware of the news but were told to keep it a secret. Ripa revealed this was difficult because they are both verbal people. Before the big reveal, Kelly Ripa took a moment to thank her guest co-hosts. Her guest co-hosts included Jerry O' Connel, Fred Savage, and Andy Cohen. Kelly also thanked the audience in the studio and at home. Ryan and Kelly drank champagne provided by executive producer Michael Gelman. They toasted in celebration before saying farewell for the day.
