The Colorado COVID-19 vaccine sweepstakes could mean you win $1 million. According to NBC,  there will be 5 drawings with $1 million prizes. Known as the Colorado Comeback Cash Sweepstakes, Colorado residents 18 and up who received at least 1 dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are eligible.  The drawings will take place between June 4th and July 7th. The dates of the Colorado Comeback Cash Sweepstakes drawings are June 4th, June 11th, June 18th, June 25th, and July 7th.  Individuals who received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before 11:59 pm the Tuesday before the next drawing are eligible to win.  Good luck!

Actress Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to star in a new romantic comedy. Netflix Tweeted the announcement on May 24th. The movie is about a newly engaged hotel heiress. According to Netflix, Lindsay Lohan's character, the hotel heiress, gets amnesia in a skiing accident. After the heiress gets amnesia, she is cared for by an attractive blue-collar man. 

According to TMZ, rapper A$AP Rocky thinks Rihanna is the one. According to TMZ, the rapper  also called the singer "The Love of my life." TMZ is reporting that A$AP Rocky is madly in love with Rihanna. He also said she's influenced his music.

I'm good luck for tv shows! One of my favorite TV shows, Impractical Jokers won Best Comedy at the MTV Music Awards on Sunday. James Murray shared a photo of himself and his co-stars holding the golden popcorn trophies.  According to MTV, Brian Quinn thanked Joe Gatto's and James' Murray's wives for them. Murray is married to Melyssa Davies. Joe Gatto is married to Bessy Gatto.  Brian Quinn thanked the production crew. Murray thanked TRUE TV.  "Joe Gatto said we've had a great time making each other and the world laugh." Singer Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, Dalton Gomez, are married. According to the Daily Mail, the couple wed in a secret ceremony over the weekend. The ceremony was held in Montecito, California. The wedding had less than 20 people. Grande married Dalton, who is a real estate agent. The couple became engaged before Christmas. 

 Boo! According to the Wall Street Journal, Walmart, Costco, and Trader Joe's won't require masks for vaccinated people. Vaccinated employees and customers no longer need a face mask.  Walmart's policy for employees will go into effect on May 18th. Vaccinated customers may go without masks now. Costco implemented a similar policy. According to the Daily Mail, Target no longer requires face masks unless local policy says otherwise.  Kroger continues to require facemasks. According to NBC, Target will continue to require face masks as well.

The inventor of Post It Notes adhesive passed away at 80-years-old. According to the Associated Press, the Post-It Note is the company, 3M's, best-known product. It's also now the best-selling product in 3M's consumer products division. According to the AP, and Spencer Silver's obituary, he died May 8th at his home.  In 1968, Silver was working in the laboratory when he discovered an unusual adhesive formula. The adhesive allowed Post-It Notes to easily stick to surfaces, and be reposted, without leaving a residue.  Spencer Silver's co-worker came up with the idea of using the adhesive to prevent the paper notes from falling out of his hymnal.  Silver retired in 1996. He earned 37 patents at 3M. Silver also won several awards, including the 1998 American Chemical Society Award for Creative Invention.  Rest in Peace Spencer Silver. 

A brand new season of The Hills New Beginnings premieres Wednesday evening! The tv show follows in the footsteps of the tv show, Laguna Beach. Laguna Beach followed many members of the cast through high school. The Food and Drug Administration authorizes the Pfizer vaccine for emergency use authorization in adolescents. According to the FDA, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine was approved for 12-15-year-olds. The FDA amended the EUA of December 11th,  2020, for use of the vaccine in people over 16-years-old.  The FDA decided the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine met the criteria of the EUA. The FDA determined the potential benefits outweigh the potential risks.  The FDA's approval comes as parents and adolescents plan for spring and summertime activities. 

Celebrities celebrate Mother's Day. Comedian Adam Sandler wished his wife, Jackie, a happy Mother's Day. Sandler shared a message and photo on Instagram on May 9, 2021. 1980s music video star and actress Tawny Kitaen passed away. Tawny's children Raine and Wynter shared a message about their mother's passing on social media on Saturday, May 8th.  "We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the death of our mom. We just want to say thank you for all of you, her fans, and her friends, for always showing her such support and love. We gave her life everyday. We miss her and love her and we know her legacy will live on forever."  According to IMDB, Tawny was known for Bachelor Party. There is good news in the battle against COVID-19, especially for parents. The FDA plans to authorize the Pfizer vaccine for 12-15-year-olds by early next week. According to the New York Times, the authorization would open the U.S. vaccination campaign to millions of more people. The Pfizer trial in adolescents showed the vaccine is effective in that age group. Many parents are eager to see their kids vaccinated before summer activities and the start of school in the fall.
