FDA plans to authorize Pfizer Vaccine for 12-15 year olds by early next week

There is good news in the battle against COVID-19, especially for parents. The FDA plans to authorize the Pfizer vaccine for 12-15-year-olds by early next week. According to the New York Times, the authorization would open the U.S. vaccination campaign to millions of more people. The Pfizer trial in adolescents showed the vaccine is effective in that age group. Many parents are eager to see their kids vaccinated before summer activities and the start of school in the fall.
