Country Music Documentary features legends Brenda Lee and Patsy Cline
I loved watching the Country Music documentary on PBS on Wednesday night. I particularly liked the story and amazing singing talent of Brenda Lee. Lee's father died when she was just seven-years-old. The young girl decided she would sing to help out her widowed mom financially. In time, Brenda began singing with the legendary Patsy Cline. Patsy and Brenda toured together. Lee said Cline was an older sister figure.
