Teen Finds $40,000 Gold, ''Jungle Gold Competition" Hurting
Jungle Gold 's George Wright and Scott Lomu are having more troubles in their quest for gold. The friends have gone through the $150,000 budget in their Ghana, Africa search. According to Discovery, together the friends are about a million dollars in debt from prior real estate transactions. The buddies problems keep adding up. Wright and employee Victor camp overnight to ward illegal Chinese miners off their gold claim. Shots ring out. No one is harmed. The rainy season left only one acre of dry land on their claim. They must pump the water out to be able to mine for gold. A team member bought a new pump to search for the precious ore. The new machine fell to its watery death. The team must carry large quantities of gasoline to the machines to keep them working. They are forced to carry the gasoline cans through dangerous Chinese miners' turf.
