Becoming a sexual assault survivor
I am a sexual assault survivor. I never thought those are words I would utter let alone write. I didn't immediately recall my memories of that night's events. Eventually, my memories of that awful night returned. Apparently, I had been in and out of consciousness. People I thought were friends were visiting me in a city in Utah.We went out for drinks. I did not drink much. They drugged me. Then a bisexual woman, her younger brother, and another man sexually assaulted me. I was lured away for something I thought would be consensual. The man and I were together but alone. The next thing I remembered is the woman and two men screaming f---k she's waking up and running away. I must have lost consciousness again. We were all together once more when the woman said to the men rape her, force her! They did not. She talked about putting hand sanitizer inside of me.
