Lindsay Lohan: My Ring Finger Got Ripped Off
Actress Lindsay Lohan lost a part of her ring finger in a boating accident. Lohan was boating Sunday October 2, 2016 off of Turkey when she attempted to pull up the boat anchor. According to TMZ, she got caught. The anchor pulled her down into the water. She tried to get untangled so she could get back in the boat. The anchor ripped off the tip of her finger. Her friends searched for the portion of her finger. They located it on the boat. They rushed Lohan to the er and a plastic surgeon reattached it. Lohan tweeted about the incident on October 3, 2016. She wrote "To make this very clear. The bottom part of my finger was ripped off. It was not 'chopped' or 'severed' off." She also posted a video of her bandaged finger and expressed regret for the incident.
