The Emmy Awards ratings are better than they've been in eight years. The AP reports the Emmys brought in 17.6 million viewers. There were 13.3 million last year. NFL football played before the awards. This is the reason attributed to the increase in viewers. There's a list of Emmy Winners in the next post.

Lindsay Lohan could be engaged. There's speculation the star will marry a former NFL player. There are multiple stories about Lindsay and her possible future husband.  There is a report insiders said the couple will announce their pending nuptials. No official word about their supposed plans to tie the knot. There's talk Lindsay is doing well.

Prince Harry prepares for a South Pole trek in an unusual way. Harry spent the night in a freezer. The AP reports he practiced for the trek by simulating the environment there. He bundled up to brave the elements. After, Harry walked through wind gusts before commenting about the cold. He wasn't alone for his adventure. Harry was seen accompanied with a group. Harry's South Pole expedition is scheduled for November. 

Clint Eastwood's wife files for legal separation. The AP reports she requested spousal support and custody of their daughter. Morgan is the couple's 16-year-old. The Eastwood's were married in 1996.  They met when Dina interviewed the movie star. She is Clint's second wife. The family is featured in the reality show Mrs. Eastwood & Company . Clint appears to stay out of the limelight in episodes. Dina, Clint, and Morgan are featured.

Kim Kardashian is blonde. There are reports the Keeping up with the Kardashian 's reality star lightened her locks. The new color contrasts with her tan complexion. Her hair looks great. Sandra Bullock is denying romance rumors about her and George Clooney. Bullock and Clooney are co-stars in the recent film Gravity.   She spoke about Clooney during an AP interview. "I adore him," the actress said.  She joked, "He wasn't making eyes." The AP reports Clooney said  "We are very similar in the way we work, in the way we approach life." "Working with her is just fun. It was truly a lot of laughing."
