The most famous film critic, Rogert Ebert, passes away. The Sun-Times reports Ebert passed Thursday in Chicago. He was 70. The popular and beloved film reviewer worked for the Sun-Times. According to the Associated Press, Ebert was battling cancer.  In 2002, he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. He had surgery for salivary gland cancer. According to an AP correspondent, he lost his chin and could not speak. This did not stop him from writing reviews. The Associated Press reports he started as a film critic in 1967.  Ebert worked on television programs with co-host Gene Siskel. The Associated Press writes Ebert "wielded the nation's most influential thumb."According to Movie Phone, he popularized the "two thumbs up" movie rating system. Ebert was the first movie critic to win a Pulitzer Prize for criticism.

Justin Bieber rants on the internet against lies. According to the Associated Press, Bieber said there are countless lies about him in the media. The star denied rumors that he is going to rehab on Instagram. He wrote, "I'm 19 and it must be scary to some people to think this is just the beginning." “If anyone believes I need rehab that’s their own stupidity. I’m 19 with five number one albums, 19 and I’ve seen the whole world. 19 and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of.” The singer collapsed backstage at his London concert, fought with paparazzi, and canceled his show in Portugal.

Spielberg vows to bring films from India to the U.S. The famous director revealed his plan in a television interview with Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan in Mumbai. Spielberg said today he wants to promote a greater cultural exchange between the U.S. and India. The famed director said it's been 30 years since his last visit to India. He visited after 'Jaws' and 'Close Encounters' was released. "It was so great no one knew who I was." Spielberg said he enjoyed his anonymity while traveling there. Spielberg wants to inspire a cultural exchange between the countries. The celebrity said, maybe not movie theaters right away, television would be a great outlet for the Bollywood films.

The series premieres Thursday October 11 on the CW.
