Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome their baby girl. According to the website Archewell, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday, June 4th at 11:40 am at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. Meghan and Prince Harry's daughter weighed in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces.  Meghan and the baby are both well. Lili is named after her great grandmother, her Majesty The Queen. The Queen's family nickname is Lilibet. Lili's middle name is in honor of her late grandmother Princess Diana.  Lili is Meghan Markle and Price Harry’s second child. Meghan and Harry are parents to son Archie as well.  Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. 

The Netflix 'show' The Crown shines. I watched the Princess Diana episodes and was captivated by Elizabeth Debicki's performance as Princess Diana and the entire cast's performances.  Diana, a woman who was clearly struggling with her marriage to Prince Charles, struggling with her eating disorder, her loneliness, and the Queen (Olivia Colman) herself. Diana's eating habits seemed to be all she could control in a marriage portrayed in the Crown as frequently loveless.  As depicted in the Netflix show, Prince Charles married Diana, instead of love Camila Parker Bowles to appease the Queen and the royal family. The show takes aim at the British Monarchy as an organization that protects the establishment instead of family members.  Princess Margaret, portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter, opposes Prince Charles's marriage to Diana. A mysterious photo of Princess Diana surfaced. The photo was snapped before she was considered royalty. The rare collectible is now set to be sold at auction in the U.S. The picture created a stir and the likeness is the topic of news articles. No one knew the identity of the gentlemen featured until a few days ago. According to an AP interview with the RR Auction Vice President, the man is the grandson of famous English Prime Minister Baldwin. Diana Spencer and the gentleman are on a 1981 ski trip. They could be 19 or 20 years old. Diana is thought to be a teenager at the time. The photo is marked 'not to be published.' The palace probably didn't want the picture out with her wedding to Prince Charles. The photograph is set for a New Hampshire auction. The item is expected to bring $5,000.
