According to Twitter, the funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3 pm in Saint George's Chapel Windsor. Prince Phillip was the husband of Queen Elizabeth of England. Royal officials released a statement on Instagram on April 9th concerning his death.

"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty the Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness, Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness Passed Away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss. Further announcements will be made in due course."
