A study determines the unvaccinated are 11 times more likely to die from COVID-19. According to the Associated Press, the study followed 600,000 COVID-19 cases in 13 U.S. states for about 4 months starting in April. The study concluded the unvaccinated are 4.5 times more likely than the fully vaccinated to become infected with COVID-19. The unvaccinated are also 10 times more likely to be hospitalized.
Dr. Rochelle Walensky said more than 90 percent of COVID-19 patients in U.S. hospitals are unvaccinated. The CDC determines the unvaccinated are 11 times more likely to die from COVID-19.
