FDA gives full approval of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine

The FDA gives full approval for the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 in people 16 and older on Monday, August 23rd. According to the Associated Press,  the seal of approval could boost public confidence in the vaccine. According to the CDC, Covid-19 vaccines are safe and effective. The Pfizer vaccine was under emergency use authorization before Monday's full approval.
