The "Curse of Oak Island" team make an interesting discovery

On the February 25th episode of "The Curse of Oak Island," the team made an interesting find.

According to the "Curse of Oak Island," the team discovered there's a historical record of a ship off of Novia Scotia which a privateer exploded with a powder keg. 

The team also discovered an iron object, like a hinge they found earlier. The iron strap could be part of a treasure chest. 

Blacksmith expert Carmen Legge revealed the strap was in a fire and under extreme heat. The team concluded a ship may have been exploded to hide the vessel. The "Curse of Oak Island" is on Tuesday evenings on the History Channel.
