Prince William awards John Moore and Theresa Cosgrove Queen's Gallantry Medal for pulling driver and motorcylist from burning vehicles

Prince William presents John Moore and Theresa Cosgrove with their Queen's Gallantry Medal

for pulling a driver and a motorcyclist from burning vehicles in the UK. 

The Duke of Cambridge presented John and Theresa with the Queen's Gallantry Medal and the Queen's Commendation for Bravery respectively at an Investiture at Buckingham Palace. 

Kensington Palace posted video of the award ceremony on Thursday, November 29. Moore and Cosgrove's displayed the act of heroism on June 10, 2014, after a collision in Elstree.

John and Theresa stopped their car after seeing the vehicles on fire and risked their own lives to pull the motorcyclist and driver to safety.

John and Theresa stopped their car after seeing the two vehicles had caught on fire, and risked their own lives to drag the motorcyclist and driver to safety. Today The Duke of Cambridge presented John and Theresa with The Queen’s Gallantry Medal and The Queen’s Commendation for Bravery respectively at an #Investiture at Buckingham Palace.
