Stars celebrate Father's Day. Actress Kate Hudson shared a sweet message about her stepdad, Kurt Russell, on the holiday on Sunday, June 20th. Officials say she was killed and her body dumped in the woods 65 miles away.

Kim Kardashian West celebrates daughter North West's eighth birthday. The reality star shared a series of photos of North and a sweet message on social media on North's birthday, June 15th. Kim wrote,  "My firstborn baby is 8-years-old today! Update:  An abducted 2-year-old was found safe. 2-year-old Jayleel Jones is expected to be all right. According to NBC News, the toddler was asleep in the car with his parents close by. A suspect stole the running car with the child inside.  Police are looking for the suspect. The suspect is bald or has a shaved head.  According to Fox News, the Amber Alert went out at about 3:13 pm Saturday, June 12th.  Story from June 12th: A white male stole a vehicle in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, June 12th.  2-year-old Jayleel Jones was in the vehicle. Jayleel has since been found safe.  The suspect is a white male in his 30s with a shaved head.  The black KIA Colorado license plate number is BELLZ92. According to the Amber Alert, the vehicle has damage to the side door. There is tape on the rear hatch. 

The teen who filmed George Floyd's murder on her cellphone is awarded an honorary Pulitzer.  The teen filmed Derek Chauvin kneel on George Floyd's neck in 2020. According to the New York Times, even if Derek Chauvin knelt on Floyd's shoulder, experts at Derek Chauvin's trial agree to kneel on the neck, or the shoulder could be lethal.  According to ABC,  Darnella Frazier won the honorary Pulitzer as a citizen journalist. Citizen journalists are members of the public who analyze and share information online.  Frazier's video helped spark Black Lives Matter protests.  According to NPR, Darnella Frazier won the award on Friday, June 11th.  Congratulations to Darnella Frazier. 

Khloe Kardashian wishes Kanye West a happy birthday, despite Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's plans to divorce. Kim's sister Khloe shared a post on social media on Tuesday, June 8th.  Khloe wrote, "Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings!!"  Khloe shared the message and a photo. The photograph features Cleveland Cavaliers Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian, rapper Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in the ocean.  Kim Kardashian also wished Kanye a happy birthday on Instagram. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcome their baby girl. According to the website Archewell, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday, June 4th at 11:40 am at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California. Meghan and Prince Harry's daughter weighed in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces.  Meghan and the baby are both well. Lili is named after her great grandmother, her Majesty The Queen. The Queen's family nickname is Lilibet. Lili's middle name is in honor of her late grandmother Princess Diana.  Lili is Meghan Markle and Price Harry’s second child. Meghan and Harry are parents to son Archie as well.  Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. 

The Colorado COVID-19 vaccine sweepstakes or Colorado Comeback Cash announces there will be drawings for twenty-five $50,000 scholarships for 12-17-year-olds for college or post-secondary education. There are also incentives like scratch tickets. You must register at Vaxtothemaxnm.org to be eligible. The website to register is separate from New Mexico's vaccine scheduling website.
