Alicia Vikander is cast in the new Tomb Raiders movie. The film is about a young Laura Croft fighting to survive her first adventure. According to Deadline, Roar Uthuag (The Wave) directs. MGM and Warner Brothers are co-producing the film. MGM will oversee production. Vikander is best known for in The Danish Girl. In 2015, she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role. Next she'll be taking on the role opposite Matt Damon in Jason Bourne.

Kid Rock's assistant dies in an ATV crash on the singer's Nashville property. Kid Rock and a friend discovered Mike Sacha, 30, lying face down on the side of a driveway to Kid Rock's home. According to the AP, the death is considered accidental. According to US Weekly, Sacha's death occurred on Monday April 25, 2016.  The rock star is "beyond devastated" about his assistant and friend's passing.

Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne lock lips on the season two finale of I am Cait.  The two kiss after a dare from Ella Giselle. According to Yahoo, Caitlyn and Candis encourage Ella to sing during a group dinner. She responds she'll sing if the two kiss and they do! Caitlyn and Candis insist they're just friends.

The stars are parents to Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. According to the AP, Both parents agreed they don't need spousal support or child support. Stefani filed for divorce in August after about 13 years of marriage. She cited irreconcilable differences. Stefani is currently dating fellow Voice judge and country mega star Blake Shelton.

According to US Weekly , a source reveals Nathan Fillion (Richard Castle) and Stana Katic "despise each other." The magazine reports Katic will be leaving after the currently airing eight season. The source tells US Weekly , "they will not speak when they are off set, and this has been going on for seasons now." There are even reports the co-stars were sent to couple's counseling. Fillion posted this statement to Twitter about Katic's exit: "Castle has been one of the greatest joys of my creative life, and I hope the show continues on for years to come. An 18 year-old Columbus, Ohio woman pleaded not guilty to charges that she livestreamed her friend's rape on the Periscope app. The man who allegedly raped her friend also pleaded not guilty. AP

Celebrities joined Sean Parker at the unveiling of his new cancer immunotherapy institute Wednesday April 15. Director Peter Jackson also attended the gala and showed support for Parker's proposed at-home movie streaming service, The Screening Room. AP 

There will be a Deadpool sequel. Twentieth Century Fox confirms the sequel is in the works. According to the AP, the film will star Ryan Reynolds and be directed by Tim Miller.  The first movie made more than $757 million worldwide. It cost only $58 million to make.
