Several Injured as Chinese Fans Mob Beckham

Fans mobbed in an attempt for a glimpse at David Beckham. They swarmed at a Shanghai University on Thursday. The public made it past a police barrier there.

You can see the chaos created. The scene is noisy as fans try to snap photos. Multiple people can be seen sitting or laying on the cement.

The incident injured seven people. Five security guards are among the injured.

The sheer number of fans is astounding.

Beckham can be seen in the video. He appears to be guarded by personnel. Beckham looks to have escaped the scene uninjured.
