Palace Says Duchess of Cambridge Expecting

The royal family says Prince William and Kate are expecting a baby. The Duchess of Cambridge is in a London hospital for a severe morning sickness.

According to Perez Hilton the Palace released a statement:

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news."

You may recall my post on November 20 about hype the princess was pregnant. The Examiner reported the Queen announced the pregnancy. According to the Examiner Victoria Beckham was on hand. Back in November, another close friend said Kate would make an announcement soon.

There are snaps of the Duchess with noticeable weight around her stomach. There was talk Kate looked pregnant.

Victoria Beckam encouraged Kate and William to have kids. Prince William told the BBC he wants two children. This is the married couple's first child.
