Someone in California hit the 1.2 billion dollar Mega Millions jackpot on Friday, December 27th. According to the AP, a cash out would be $549.7. Most lottery players choose a cash out instead of an annuity. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are 1in 302.6 million.
