Stars are celebrating International Friendship Day.  

Actress Kate Hudson shared a post on Instagram. According to Instagram,  Hudson wrote, I heard we were celebrating a fun hashtag...I love this one. Easy caption. I LOVE MY FRIENDS!"

Hudson shared the post on social media on July 31. 

According to the U.N. website, the day celebrates friendship across cultures. International Friendship Day promotes diversity as well. The day also promotes conflict resolution and the prevention of violence.
