Paris Hilton is engaged to her boyfriend Carter Reum. The socialite shared photos and a message about the couple's engagement on Wednesday, February 17th. 

According to the Daily Mail, Carter proposed on Paris' 40th birthday on February 17th. According to Paris' website, a peaceful pre-dinner walk on the beach turned into much more. 

On Instagram, Paris captioned the photos.

 Hilton wrote,

According to Paris' website, Carter used Jean Dousset, the great-great-grandson of Louis-Francois Cartier, 
to design the engagement ring.
