Gary Drayton discovers a ring from the 1700s or earlier in the drained swamp. Drayton found the ring on a recent episode of the TV show The Curse of Oak Island.According to The Curse of Oak Island, it’s an intricate Spanish silver ring with a flower decoration.
The treasure hunting team also revealed a keg cover was found in 1861. Drayton said of the keg cover “People mistakenly think all Spanish treasure is in chests. It’s not.”
The Curse of Oak Island is Tuesday evenings at 7pm Mountain Standard Time on the History Channel. It’s cables number 1 non-fiction series.
