Colorado Governor Jared Polis announces stay-at-home orders for the state of Colorado
According to NBC, officials have announced a stay-at-home order for the state of Colorado. The stay at home order goes into effect at 6 am Thursday and lasts until April 26th.
Additional counties were added to a list of areas already on stay at home orders to battle Covid-19 in Colorado. These additional counties include Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, and Boulder counties.
According to Colorado Governor Jared Polis, travel for essential means like grocery shopping or seeking emergency care is allowed. Caring for a sick loved one is also allowed. The staying-at-home order is now law.
