Could the swamp be the answer to the Oak Island mystery?

People have been looking for treasure on an island off of Nova Scotia, Canada since 1795.
On the Tuesday, January 21st episode of “The Curse of Oak Island” the team is closer to finding answers in the mysterious man-made swamp on Oak Island. According to the History Channel, the treasure hunting team received permits to dig in the swamp. A crew worked to drain the swamp and the team made plans for a long-reach excavator to dig in the area of the swamp.

There is believed to be a 200-foot object and a paved wharf in the swamp. The treasure hunters have named the top of the bog, the eye of the swamp. Dr. Spooner has determined there was significant human activity at the eye of the swamp in the 17th Century. It appears Rick Lagina’s persistence in wanting to further explore the bog could pay off. Could the swamp be the answer to the Oak Island mystery?
