Ariana Grande releases 'Mean Girls' inspired music video with celebrity appearances



Ariana Grande releases her highly anticipated "Mean Girls" inspired "Thank You, Next" music video on Friday, November 30th. As of Friday evening, the singer's video is #1 on Trending with more than 15 million Youtube views.

According to Mashable, the music video broke Youtube or at least delayed the comments section.

The Daily Mail reports Ariana's friend and Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies plays character Cady Heron. Gillies is also on the show "Dynasty."

Actual "Mean Girls" actor Jonathan Bennett makes a cameo. Bennett is dating Ariana Grande.
Bennett played Regina and Cady's love interest Aaron Samuels in the film and in "Thank You, Next".

Grande took on the role of Regina George in the music video. "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star Kris Jenner made a cameo as Regina's mom Ms. George.

Grande's video also pays tribute to the movie "Legally Blonde," as the singer takes on the role of Elle Woods. Woods was played by Reese Witherspoon in the film.

Actress Jennifer Coolidge who played Paulette in the film makes a cameo in Ariana's music video.

"Thank You, Next" also pays tribute to the films "Bring it On" and "13 Going on 30." Ariana took on the lead character of each of the movies mentioned above.
