'Teen Mom OG' star Tyler Baltierra holds back tears discussing his mental health struggles

'Teen Mom OG star Tyler Baltierra holds back his tears as he discusses his mental health struggles. He posted a video and message on Instagram on Monday, February 5th.  

Baltierra writes, "I was about to delete this post...then I thought about it more deeply. If I can at least connect with one person through this & let them know they aren't alone in their struggles. It will make being vulnerable worth it. #Keep Fighting #KeepingTalkingMH"

He added, "I'm posting this because I think it is important for people to not feel alone in their struggles. We're humans, were allowed to have bad days, hard times & weak moments. Don't be ashamed of what makes us humans special. You're loved. You're worthy." 

You may recall, Baltierra shared in a video he would be attending therapy. 

Catelynn Lowell is Tyler's wife. They share toddler, daughter Novalee. The couple put daughter Carly up for adoption as shown on the show "16 and Pregnant."

Lowell tweeted on November 17, "well today I thought of every way to kill myself so...I'm going to treatment." 

Baltierra responded on Twitter. He wrote, "Incredibly proud of my wife..when she thought she had no choices left, she reached out and decided to LIVE today! My life would be desolate without her in it.You are beautiful, strong, worthy & loved. @Catelynn Lowell #KeepTalkingMH"
