Natalie Portman skipping Oscars due to pregnancy
Natalie Portman is about to pop from her pregnancy, that's why she's skipping the Academy Awards Sunday, Feb. 26. Portman said, "I'm too pregnant for the Oscars."
According to TMZ, the actress is nominated for best actress for playing Jackie Kennedy in the movie
"Jackie." Portman also planned to skip the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, Feb. 25. She's nominated for best female lead.
Portman released a statement to "The Hollywood Reporter," she said, "Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards. I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends."
