The couple welcome Bari pronounced (Bar-ee) Najma Ali on Feb. 22, 2017. Ali made the announcement on Instagram on Friday, Feb. 25.

According to the Sun, Mahershala Ali is up for best-supporting actor for the movie "Moonlight." He plays Juan a kind-hearted drug dealer.
