Natalie Portman says co-star, Ashton Kutcher paid three times as much
Natalie Portman says her "No Strings Attached" co-star, Ashton Kutcher was paid three times as much as her. In a magazine interview, Portman said she knew about the pay difference at the time.
According to the AP, she said she wasn't as angry as she should have been. Portman continued,
we get paid a lot so it's hard to complain but the disparity is crazy.
Ashton Kutcher responded. According to US Weekly, Kutcher commended his costar for advocating for equal pay. He tweeted, "So proud of Natalie and all women who stand up for closing the gender pay gap!" He posted the tweet on Jan. 11.
