Debbie Reynolds Dies at 84

Actress Debbie Reynolds passes away from an apparent stroke on Wednesday, one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher dies. Reynolds rose to fame in "Singing in the Rain." Carrie Fisher is the "Star Wars" icon known for playing Princess Leia.

According to TMZ, Reynold's last words were "I want to be with Carrie." Debbie uttered these words right before her stroke at her son, Todd's Beverly Hills home. She was rushed to the hospital shortly after 1 pm after somebody called 911 about a possible stroke. Debbie and Todd had been making funeral arrangements for Carrie.

Debbie is known for having divorced Eddie Fisher after his affair with Elizabeth Taylor. Debbie went on to marry two more times.

She was Hollywood royalty known for her roles in "Tammy and the Bachelor" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown." She earned an Oscar nomination for the latter.
