Taylor Swift Makes Dig at Kanye West During Grammys Speech
Taylor Swift makes a dig at rapper Kanye West in her 2016 Grammy Acceptance Speech for Album of the Year at the Staples Center in L.A February 15. She seems to have a response for West's recently revealed rap lyric claiming he is the reason behind Swift's rise to fame.
According to US Weekly, Swift had this to say during her speech:
"I want to say to all the young women out there-there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don't let these people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going you'll look around and you will know that it was the people who love you who put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world."
According to the magazine, West started the feud when he revealed his new album The Life of Pablo and the song "Famous" at the Yeezy Season 3 show at Madison Square Garden in New York. West raps he "might have sex" with Swift because he made "that b____ famous" in his song.
It looks like Taylor Swift proved she's a class act with a well thought out rebuttal to Kanye's controversial lyrics.
