Birdman and Boyhood Win at Critics' Choice Awards

The critics weigh in. Birdman takes home seven prizes at this years Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Boyhood director Richard Linklater takes home the award for Best Director. Boyhood wins Best Picture. Cast and Crew worked on the film for thirteen years. Both Birdman and Boyhood have Oscar nods. According to the AP, The Grand Budapest Hotel is honored with three Critics Choice awards, including Best Comedy.

Julianne Moore wins Best Actress for Still Alice at the Critics Choice Awards, following her Best Actress win at the Golden Globes. Moore graced the Critics Choice red carpet. She said she flew in early from New York to be there.
