Shia LaBeouf is released from police custody Friday. LaBeof is rumored to have disrupted a performance of the musical Cabaret . The famous actor was removed from an NYC theater. The celebrity was arrested. According to the AP, officials said he allegedly yelled obscenities and acted irrationally during his arrest. There is unconfirmed talk one too many drinks may have contributed to the situation. This isn't the first time LaBeof acted strangely. There is the time he wore a brown paper bag over his head on the red carpet. The words I'm not famous anymore were scribbled on the bag. LaBeof made odd comments at a press junket at another event. 

Courtney Cox is engaged. The star took to twitter to confirm her engagement to Johnny McDaid. McDaid is a rock star for the band Snow Patrol. The couple posted two photos together and his and her tweets. Courtney's is "I’m engaged to him!" while Johnny's is "I'm engaged to her!" According to US Weekly, the pair have dated for six months. Fans tweeted their well wishes to the newly engaged couple.

Angelina Jolie isn't quitting acting for good. The star announced at a recent Maleficent press conference she will step away from acting. According to the AP, Jolie wants to focus on directing, writing, and her humanitarian efforts. There were reports the celebrity would stop acting. Jolie herself said she wanted to focus more on her family. She is mother to six kids. Jolie had spoken about wanting to leave all together when her kids are teens. You may recall the Celebrity Glam post in December 2012 Angelina Jolie Plans Retirement . The article is about Jolie's plans to retire in the next five years. Jolie wants to continue her charity work. Angelina said in an interview charity saved her from 'a horrible, shallow life.'

Prince Harry takes a canoe ride. The royal family member got out on the water in Brasilia, Brazil Monday. You can hear camera shutters as the prince canoes. According to the AP, this after Prince Harry stopped in to a hospital specializing in rehabilitation, orthopedic and neuropsychological work. Prince Harry is touring South America. He could be there, in part, for the World Cup.

Kim Kardashian West celebrates baby North's first birthday at 'Kidchella.' The party is Coachella themed. Kardashian West welcomed her baby girl into the world June 15 last year. The birthday bash was on a weekend this year. There was karaoke, a bouncy slide, and a Ferris Wheel. According to their Instagram photos, umbrellas were set up.The birthday party was held in Kourtney's backyard.  Guests wore festival style clothing. There was plenty of fringe and feathers. Kanye announced Kim was pregnant through a song at his concert December 31, 2012.

Sandra Bullock's alleged stalking suspect is charged with 19 felony counts. According to the AP, he is charged with possessing a weapons arsenal. This could include a machine gun, an assault weapon, and destructive device.   Bullock had a scary encounter when the man was found inside her $16 million mansion June 8. He was not armed inside the home. According to US Weekly, the man broke into the celebrity's mansion. Bullock and her young son were home at the time. The suspect's bail is set at $2 million. He could face up to 12 years in prison. There are rumors the suspect, Joshua Corbett was obsessed with Sandra Bullock. According to US Weekly, Bullock since increased security.

Aaron Hernandez is back in court and he wants the charge dismissed. His legal representation is expected to request the murder charges be dropped. Hernandez may be in more trouble. According to the AP, Hernandez was there recently to be arraigned on charges for an alleged attack on a handcuffed inmate and an alleged threat to kill a guard and his family. You may recall the former professional football player was allegedly charged with his friend, Odin Lloyd's murder. Hernandez appeared in court for the arraignment in June last year. Lloyd was a semi professional football player. His body was discovered in an industrial park about a mile from Aaron Hernandezs' house.

Kim K's baby North West is one year old. The baby's birthday is today. Kim's mom, Kris Jenner tweeted "Happy first Birthday to my beautiful Granddaughter North!!!! Oprah takes Lindsay Lohan under her wing. Oprah's friendship could be the reason Lindsay looks to be keeping a lower profile. Lohan is not the frequent subject of tabloid speculation since the talk show host and actresses' interaction. The star made an appearance on Letterman's show. There Lindsay said Oprah would pick up the phone when she calls her. This after they talked about Oprah not picking up the telephone for Letterman. Lohan called the Queen of all Media and she picked up. Letterman commented Lindsay appeared to be doing well.  According to The Late Show inteview, Lohan's documentaries are on Oprah's OWN network. The show Lindsay chronicles her everyday activities. Lohan produces the series which premiered in early March. Lindsay made a new pal. She tweeted "hanging out with my new friend." Does Paris Hilton make fewer appearances? I haven't seen her in the media frenzy of reality shows, red carpet interviews, and club hopping. Hilton does make appearances on her aunt's show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle Richards is a cast mate on the reality show. According to US Weekly, Paris helps Kyle handle the trappings of fame. There are reports Paris returned to her roots opening up new Hilton hotels. She is said to have promoted  an apartment complex in the Philippines.

Ellen DeGeneres made history with her request for a selfie at the March 2nd, 2014 Academy Awards. The Oscar host gathered together A-listers, including the likes of Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts, for a selfie. According to the AP, DeGeneres posted the selfie to Twitter crashing the social networking site. She set a record for the amount of re-tweets. There could be meaning beyond the talk show host's antics. DeGeneres invited a pizza delivery boy to hand out pizza to the stars. This could be a possible move to honor people who serve food. This stunt and the star studded selfie became the talk of the Oscars. The word selfie made it into the dictionary. While somebody taking photographs of themselves is nothing new, the word selfie appeared to pop up from nowhere.Where did the selfie trend beg...

Frank Sinatra Junior sang at Belmont. The celebrity wowed the crowd with the song "New York, New York" on June 7, 2014. His rendition sounded exactly like his father's singing. I don't think there was a prerecorded tape of his dad's music. His voice simply sounds like his father's. There are unconfirmed reports Frank Sinatra Junior's mother is Nancy Barbato. There could be another 'Sinatra Junior.' Frank  According to the AP, Sinatra is rumored to have fathered Mia Farrow's child, who is now an adult. What does Farrow's son, Ronan, sing like? Does he sound like Sinatra?

Twerking is a booty shaking phenomenon. Celebrity and internet videos feature the dance. Then there is the infamous Miley Cyrus twerking at the 2013 VMAs. Twerking is a "dance to popular music in a provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance." Where did this particular style originate?  Columnists claim twerking started in a 1990s music video. Twerking could actually be from Africa. The possibility a tribal person started the dance movements way before Westerners were aware of twerking is more probable. Sure enough there are articles about similar dances beginning in Africa. Twerkings origins could have little to do with our popular culture. They could be African.

According to the AP, Rihanna talked about her passion for fashion. She commented I would have donated 20 costumes. "It was without a doubt, I would have done it because it was for charity." RiRi further promoted her new fragrance Rogue. The perfume is nominated for Celebrity Fragrance of the Year. Hundreds of people surrounded the Paris cosmetic shop for the launch. This is her fourth fragrance.

Rihanna wears a revealing sheer dress to a fashion awards ceremony. The singer wore the see through gown to the CFDA fashion awards in New York. The star's ensemble included a sheer hair accessory which brought out her gorgeous green eyes. She appears to be carrying a fur shawl.  People took note of Rihanna's barely there dress. The celebrity's gown is the topic of articles. People are sure to be talking about what she was wearing. Her sparkling earrings complimented her wardrobe. According to the AP, Rihanna won an Icon Award. She commented she likes to break fashion rules while accepting the honor.  Rihanna's draw dropping outfit caused a commotion. Design celebs and stars like Jennifer Hudson and Olivia Wilde graced the carpet.The ceremony celebrated fashion and diversity.

A man who was once a Securities and Exchange Commission Prosecutor said the case against golfer Phil Mickelson is difficult. According to the AP, the former prosecutor said there isn't definitive evidence. Phil Mickelson maintains he is innocent.  Mickelson said "I've done absolutely nothing wrong." He commented after questions pertaining to trading on May 31. According to the AP, he and gambler Billy Walters may have made trades. The trades may have taken place while Carl Ichan was attempting to take over Clorox.
