Last Member of 'Sound of Music' Family Dies

A woman, whose family inspired the Sound of Music, has died. According to the AP,
Maria von Trapp died Sunday. She was 99 years old.

Von Trapp's musical family escaped from Nazi occupied Austria. This was the inspiration for the Sound of Music.

Maria Von Trapp was the second oldest daughter. She was the last surviving member of the family.
