Franco Brings His Wizardry to London

James Franco, Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis walk the yellow brick carpet at the European premiere of Oz The Great and Powerful.

Franco said he originally didn't want to play the character because he made a lot of mistakes. Williams said she loved the way Glenda was described in the script. The star said she really wanted to play a fairy.

Rachel Weisz said you pretend to be evil to each other all day and then all go home and are friends.

According to Wikipedia, the film is based on  L. Frank Baum's 1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and is in a time set before the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Sam Raimi directs the movie.

Walt Disney Pictures will release the movie in the traditional format and in 3D formats.
