Tourist Finds Luggage from Missoni's Plane on Island
A German tourist finds luggage from Missoni's airplane on the Carribean Island Curacao. CNN reports a U.S. Missoni Spokeswoman released the information.
Famed Missoni fashion CEO, Vittorio Missoni and four others have been missing since early January. The missing BN-2 plane they were on took off from Los Roques, a group of islands, and was supposed to land in Caracas, Venezuela. The estimated flight time was supposed to be just over 40 minutes.
According to the Spokeswoman, the bag belongs to a tourist from Italy. The bag was put on the Missoni plane because there wasn't room on the tourist's flight.
According to CNN, Curacao is about 124 miles west of Los Roques.
CNN reports the family is informed the luggage was found. Officials have searched waters around Curacao island. The search will continue for Missoni, his wife, Missoni's son, and three others.
