Plane Carrying Missoni Fashion CEO Missing

Rescuers search for a missing plane off Venezuela Sunday. The Missoni Fashion CEO, Vittorio Missoni, his wife, and 4 other people were inside the plane. According to E News, Missoni's son is among the passengers. There is no sign of the aircraft. Searchers have been looking for three days. The plane vanished from radar off Venezuela's coast Friday.

According to the AP, Missoni is an iconic Italian fashion house. The clothing line features geometric designs.

Officials said they are utilizing a plane, helicopter, Venezuela's Civil Aviation Agency, Venezuelan Coast Guard, and Navy in their search. The missing BN-2 plane took off from Los Roques, a group of islands, and was supposed to land in Caracas. Missoni's flight was expected to take a quick 42 minutes.

Missoni is praised in his hometown. Locals said he provides jobs for young people and funds education.
