Lohan Lawyer: Latest Case 'May Not Move Forward'

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer said there is no case against Lindsay over an alleged fight at a Manhattan nightclub. According to the AP, Attorney Mark Jay Heller spoke to the press after signing documents at the courthouse Monday.

Heller said Lohan wasn't there because there was no accusatory document. He said when there is no accusatory document nothing is presented to the court. There is nothing to plea to and Lohan's presence is not necessary.

Heller and his office communicated extensively with the NY District Attorney's Office. They brought credible evidence and testimony to the DA. Lohan and her lawyer presented a witness. The witness saw the event that spurred the arrest. Heller predicts the case will not move forward. Other reports claim the case will continue.
