Aussie DJ: Any Role in Death Is 'Gut-Wrenching'

The Aussie DJs said any role they may have played in the death of a nurse is gut-wrenching. The radio Djs prank called the UK hospital where the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was staying. They pretended to be the queen and son Prince Charles. The Nurse killed herself after the incident. The broadcasters said they were 'shattered' after learning the nurse had died.

According to Perez Hilton the radio station they worked for 2DayFM has a history of dangerous pranks. According to Hilton, a woman was paid $1,000 to make a hoax call for another show. In 2009 a program convinced a woman to call her sister to say her mother was severely injured and needed emergency treatment. The sister called paramedics. Officials found out nothing was wrong. Authorities began an investigation over the matter.

The show prepared another prank. They hooked a teen up to a lie detector test in front of her mom. The teenager revealed her rape at 12-years-old.

The DJs said they could not have foreseen the results of their prank.
