The Lone Ranger Due in Theatres July 2013

The Lone Ranger is due in theaters July 3, 2013. According to IMDB, The Lone Ranger is about a "Native American spirit warrior Tonto 'who' recounts the untold tales that transformed a man of the law, into a legend of justice." The film stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, Helena Bonham Carter portrays Red and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger.

Armie Hammer told a news outlet he enjoyed a 'bromance' with Johnny Depp. Hammer said he braided his hair. According to the Huffington Post, another highlight from the set is Depp spoke only one line. The flick cost Disney $250 million to produce.

There's news Depp signed up for the new movie Transcendence. According to IMDB, the movie is a science fiction flick about a man who creates a computer that develops a malevolent awareness. The film is compared to 2001: A Space Odyssey. The movie will begin photography sometime next year. Oscar winning cinematographer, Wally Pfister directs. New screenwriter Jack Paglen wrote the script.
