Nashville T.V. Series Debuts New Songs
Last Night's Nashville episode premieres the great song, "Undermine." You can listen to the tune here. A line in the song is "It's a whole lot harder to shine than undermine."
Nashville features two enemy stars competing for country music limelight. "Juliette Barnes," Hayden Panetierre is a rising, young superstar. "Rayana Jaymes," Connie Britton is a fading star. Industry professionals tell Rayana she'll have to perform with Juliette to save her career. Rayana refuses to team up with the popular starlet.
Rayana's people devise an alternate plan for her to tour with ex-boyfriend, Deacon.The two women fiercely compete for country crooner, "Deacon," Charles Esten. Juliette works hard to undermine the established country star. Juliette wants him to leave Rayana to tour with her. Juliette pairs up with Deacon to write a song and she buys an expensive gift- a guitar valued at about $50,000 for him.
Juliette is floored to see Rayana and Deacon perform their love song together at a small venue.
