Beware: Could Your Makeup Cause Cancer?
There could be carcinogens in your makeup. According to the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics,
they asked Avon, Revlon, and Estee Lauder, to remove chemicals linked to cancer. The cosmetics giants declined.
The campaign says the companies publicly promote the fight against breast cancer with pink ribbons. Nevertheless, their cosmetics don't reflect their marketing.
According to the FDA, firms and individual cosmetic marketers are responsible for assuring safety.
