Goldfather's stars are on the hunt for gold in Alaska. Goldfathers is a show on National Geographic.
The program features John Reeves. The channel reports he hunts for the precious ore at a time when gold prices are at an all time high. Reeves is a big business man. He is the largest landowner in Alaska. Some of his land neighbors the Fort Knox Mine where $1,500,000 is pulled from the ground every day.
Reeves kids are in the gold game. Doug Baker is too. Baker has to make up for huge losses to survive in gold mining. He says he took a soaking with $400,000 to $500,000 last year.
