US gives final OK for COVID-19 shots for kids


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approves the COVID-19 vaccine for children between the ages of 5-11 years old. According to the Associated Press, the CDC approved the Pfizer vaccine for kids on Tuesday night. 2 doses of the 10 microgram IM COVID-19 vaccine were recommended under  Emergency Use Authorization. Doctors clinics, hospitals, and health departments are rolling out the 
vaccine for kids.
